Hi, I’m Kelsey! I’m a certified elementary school teacher with years of experience working with children. At Blue Guitar Studio, I specialize in helping kids ages 4–9 take their very first steps into music. Whether it’s guitar, keyboard, or ukulele, I create a positive, encouraging space where every child can feel comfortable exploring, learning, and building confidence.
My lessons are fun, patient, and tailored to each child’s needs. I have experience working with a wide range of learners, and I’m committed to making sure every student feels included and successful as they begin their musical journey.
About Kids Beginner Music Lessons
Kelsey’s lessons are designed especially for children ages 4–9 as a fun and supportive introduction to learning an instrument. As an experienced elementary school teacher and instructor at Blue Guitar Studio, Kelsey specializes in beginner music lessons for kids that are engaging, age-appropriate, and confidence-building.
Students can choose beginner guitar lessons, keyboard lessons, or ukulele lessons for children. Lessons are offered in 30-minute weekly sessions, the perfect length to keep young learners focused while having fun.
Lessons focus on:
Building comfort with the instrument through games and playful activities
Learning to play familiar, fun songs - from popular tunes to movie and video game soundtracks kids love
Exploring rhythm and developing listening skills
Developing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
