Welcome! My name is Paul Lambert, owner of Blue Guitar Studio. I am a professional musician with music degrees from McGill University and a Berklee College of Music affiliate.

Blue Guitar Studio has been providing guitar, bass, and drum lessons in Vancouver for over 15 years. The studio is located in the Fairview area and we also offer online guitar lessons and bass lessons via Zoom, FaceTime and Skype.

 All of the guitar, bass and drum teachers that work at our locally owned studio have university degrees in music and are working professionals in the music industry. It’s important to us to have relatable teachers who are active in the music scene and who stay current with needs of our guitar, bass, and drum students. 

Music Lessons at Blue Guitar Studio

Our focus is to develop individualized, engaging lessons for our guitar, bass, and drum students. Lessons consist of a combination of theory, exercises, and fun song-based learning. We teach all styles and genres of music, to all ages. Our students range in ability from complete beginners to advanced musicians, and we welcome students of all levels into the studio. 

Our goal is to make sure that our students leave with fun and manageable songs to practice so that they come eager and excited to keep moving forward every lesson. Whether you’re looking to learn your favourite songs to strum along with, further your technical abilities, start song writing, or prepare for a college entrance audition, we’ll make sure that you’re getting the music education you need to get there!
