Paul Lambert has degrees in music education from the esteemed McGill University and from a Berklee College of Music affiliate. Paul has been playing, teaching, and producing music for over 15 years. During this time he has taught guitar, bass and drums to hundreds of students at ALL levels, both privately and various music institutions. Paul has been invited as a guest music clinician for colleges and high schools around B.C., such as Selkirk College and McMath High School. Paul is currently the in-house guitar instructor at Vancouver’s Roundhouse Community Centre and has worked at reputable music institutions such as Long and McQuade, Staccato Studios and Beethoven at Home.
As well as being a full time music instructor, Paul is the lead guitarist, frontman and songwriter for the highly acclaimed 99.3 The Fox SEEDS (Nickelback, Daniel Wesley, Bif Naked) winning band City Walls. City Walls has played to sold out venues such as the Commodore Ballroom, The Vogue Theatre, and the Vancouver Convention Centre, opening up for acts such as The Sheepdogs, The Trews, and Young the Giant. They have toured Canada and the U.S. and their music is currently in rotation on commercial radio stations including The Fox. They are currently working on their next album with Garth Richardson (producer of Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Chris Shaw (Bob Dylan, Public Enemy etc). At the age of 16 years old, Paul won the Rock 101.1 Joe Satriani Guitar Competition, winning his signature guitar along with a meet and greet backstage where Joe signed the guitar. Paul is currently endorsed by Graphtech Guitar Labs and Prestige Guitars.
