Blue Guitar Studio Lessons - COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

  • As per the PHO as of March 11, 2022, masks are not required, but personal choices are respected. There are masks on the counter in the waiting room for anyone who does not have a mask and would like one.

  • Our waiting area is very small, please arrive as near to your lesson time as possible. If you are waiting for a student who is in a lesson, we ask that you please wait outside.

  • If you or anyone you have come into contact with has displayed COVID-19 related symptoms, or if you’re feeling sick for any reason, please inform us and stay home. We also offer online lessons for people who are unable to come into the studio.

  • Upon entering the studio, please use the provided hand sanitizer on the counter and have a seat, your instructor will notify you when they’re ready!

  • Please respect other people's space and do your best to maintain 2 meters physical distance while inside.

We have taught countless students of all levels, styles, and ages and take pride in our ability to tailor each lesson plan to suit our students’ individual needs. Whether you want to brush up on your blues, jazz, or other style of soloing/improvising; improve your fingerpicking/chord strumming style; or just want to learn your favourite Beatles, Hendrix, or Bruno Mars song, then we can help.

What separates Blue Guitar Studio from other guitar lessons?

All of our instructors have a post-secondary education in music and are active in the Vancouver music scene as recording artists and session musicians. We have extensive experience teaching at a variety of music schools, and Paul (owner/instructor) has also hosted instructional clinics at colleges and secondary schools including Richmond High, Hugh Boyd, Hugh McRoberts, Capilano University, and Selkirk College.

Is there anything else that makes us relevant as guitar instructors?

All of our instructors are actively involved in the music scene in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland areas and have extensive experience in the industry. You can check us out on Instagram!

Do you ever teach guitar, bass or drums lessons at student’s homes?

Due to the popularity of lessons in the studio, we no longer offer in-home lessons.
