Why choose me as your instructor?
We have taught countless students of all levels, styles, and ages and take pride in our ability to tailor each lesson plan to suit our students’ individual needs. Whether you want to brush up on your blues, jazz, or other style of soloing/improvising; improve your fingerpicking/chord strumming style; or just want to learn your favourite Beatles, Hendrix, or Bruno Mars song, then we can help.

What kind of experience separates me from other instructors?
All of our instructors have a post-secondary education in music and are active in the Vancouver music scene as recording artists and session musicians. We have extensive experience teaching at a variety of music schools, and Paul (owner/instructor) has also hosted instructional clinics at colleges and secondary schools including Richmond High, Hugh Boyd, Hugh McRoberts, Capilano University, and Selkirk College.

Is there anything else that makes us relevant as instructors?
In addition to Paul’s teaching career, he is an active recording solo artist and session musician and prior to that was the lead vocalist and guitarist for the acclaimed touring band City Walls (formerly 99.3 Fox SEEDS Platinum Winners Louder Than Love). City Walls has toured Canada and the U.S. numerous times and been featured and interviewed on rock radio stations across Canada. All of our instructors are actively involved in the music scene in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland areas and have extensive experience in the industry.

Do you ever teach guitar, bass or drums lessons at student’s homes?
Due to the popularity of lessons in the studio, we no longer offer in-home lessons.

Can you provide references?
Please, feel free to read my students’ testimonials or to contact me for any further references.

In conclusion:
We take pride in our experience as a professional touring/session musicians and instructors and understand the importance of music in our day-to-day lives. We are confident that you will be motivated and excited to pick up your guitar after your first lesson
